Add People to Your Course

Note: An instructor cannot add TAs, or Designers after the course end date.  Contact the ILC for assistance.

  1. Go to your course and click on People from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Notice the button to add people (+ People) on the top right- click this button.

  3. Type the email address of person you would like to add and select a role.
    • Designers have access to edit content or copy it to another course, but can't see Grades.
    • TAs have access to edit content and grade student submissions.

  4. Click Next.
  5. Verify the user's name, then click Add Users.

Non Academic Courses
If you are an "instructor" for a group, club or student organization course, you may add students on the People page of your course. The screen captures are similar to those posted above.

  1. Click the + People button.
  2. Enter the student's email address.
  3. Select Student for their role.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Verify the user's name, then click Add Users.
