Theme

Wave of Change: Building Better together

Challenge Brief

The Creative Jam is an opportunity to create a digital project exploring the theme "Wave of Change: Building Better Together." Tulane has no shortage of community leaders and change-makers - why not be one of them?

Your challenge is to create a visual or multimedia project that embodies this theme. Projects should explore the ways collaboration and creativity can be used to implement positive change in one's own community. You have the freedom to choose the medium that best suits your creative expression - the only requirement is that it is created using any Adobe product available to you.

Video

    • Tell a compelling story or present a creative message centered around community, collaboration, and creativity as a catalyst for positive change

    • Use any Adobe product, including Adobe Express or Adobe Premiere.

    • Make sure your video is engaging, concise, and emotionally impactful

    • No more than 1 minute in length

Social Media Campaign

    • Create a set of at least three (3) Instagram slides (1080 × 1080 px) for a social media campaign that promotes and connects with the challenge theme.

    • Use Adobe Express or any other Adobe application to create your campaign graphics.

Competition Guidelines

  • For this challenge, we highly encourage you to take advantage of Adobe Express to create your projects.
  • You are encouraged to draw inspiration from real-life experiences, stories, or issues that highlight the significance of collaboration and creativity in impacting your community.

  • Your work should be original, and all content used in the project should either be created by you or from the Adobe library of licensed content. Directly using a template is prohibited.

  • If you use Adobe Firefly, you will need to disclose how it was used and the prompt to generate the work.

  • Submissions do not need to be directly related to Tulane. Interpret the theme in any way you please.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions are due no later than Friday November 8 at 11:59 p.m. via the Adobe Creative Jam Canvas course.

  • Ensure that your submission is in the proper format (mp4 or .mov file for video and .jpeg or .png for social media graphics).

  • Include a project brief that details:

    • A description of the overall concept of the project and how it relates to the theme.

    • A short description of the process of creating the project

    • No more than an 8.5 × 11 one-page with 1” margins that is single spaced and using 11 size font can be submitted for your brief.

  • Winners will be chosen by November 18, 2024.
