For this week you will read chapters 1, 2, and 3 from The Making of the American Landscape, which are on "Recognizing Nature's bequest," "Retrieving American Indian Landscapes," and "Refashioning Hispanic Landscapes." These chapters will provide content and ideas you can use as applicable to your Cultural Landscape Project. The chapters are also our first set of exploratory readings about the cultural landscapes of North America.
